Obama responds to oil leak cap

For the first time since it started spewing oil in the Gulf of Mexico, The BP oil has leak has stopped for 24 hours.



However, US President Barack Obama spoke with journalists at the White House, cautioning that there is more work to be done.



Since the start of the leak on April 20, it is the first time BP has managed to cap the leak and stop the oil from flowing as part of a 48-hour test.



British Prime Minister, David Cameron has also welcomed the news, but noted that BP has a mess to clean up and compensation needs to be made.



The Deepwater Horizon Explosion killed 11 workers and the resulting oil spill created an environmental hazard that has damaged hundreds of miles of Gulf coastline.
