Edwards returned as JRTA president

Vincent Edwards was returned unopposed as president of the Jamaica Racehorse Trainers’ Association (JRTA), at the recent annual general meeting in the Trainers’ Room at Caymanas Park.
The JRTA is one of two racehorse trainer’s organisations in Jamaica. The other is the United Racehorse Trainers’ Association, whose members split from the JRTA last year after disputed elections in 2008.
Edwards has led the JRTA since 2004. Others elected were Welsh Souter, first vice president, Richard Donaldson, 2nd vice president and Randolph Scott, secretary/treasurer.
