Jamaica swamp India 100-27 in netball at Commonwealth Games

Jamaica's netballers steamrolled India 100-27 in a preliminary round Group A match of the Netball competition at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. At the end of the first half Jamaica led 53-11.



Playing in only the first two quarters, Romelda Aiken scored 40 goals from 42 attempts in partnership with Simone Forbes. Forbes scored 13 goals from 14 attempts. In the second half, Jnanielle Fowler took over and led the attack scoring 38 goals from 41 attempts.



For India, Prachi Tehlan led the scoring with 19 goals from 23 attempts.



Earlier, in a Group B match, England defeated in Papua New Guinea 89-31.
