Officials of the United Nations (UN) and the Organisation of American States (OAS) say they’re doing all they can to ensure that Haiti's presidential and legislative elections later this month are held as smoothly as possible.
Last week the UN provided electoral kits, including ballot boxes and polling booths for the November 28 elections.
The OAS has a mission on the ground providing technical assistance to electoral officials in the country.
OAS Assistant Secretary General Albert Ramdin says the preparations are going well.
