Western schools competition today

Game One of the best-of-three finals in the Under-19 and Under16 ISSA/KFC western high school schoolboys’ basketball competitions will take place this afternoon at the Montego Bay Cricket Club Courts.



The Under-16 best-of-three finals will feature first time finalists Holland High of Trelawny against Rhodes High of Hanover. That clash is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.



Then at 4 p.m., many-time champions Cornwall College and Mannings High will face off in the Under-19 finals.



Game Two of both finals will take place on Thursday and if necessary, game three will be played next week Monday.



The winners of both competitions will qualify for the all-island championship.
