GC Foster, UWI Revolution secure victories
GC Foster ‘A’ and UWI Revolution ‘A’ secured easy victories last night to advance to the semi-finals of Group ‘B’ of the Jamaica National Building Society/Jamaica Netball Association Open League.
The games were played at the Leila Robinson Courts.
G.C. Foster ‘A’ defeated Molynes United ‘A’ in their quarterfinal game with Petal Smith scoring a game-high 18 goals from 31 attempts and Shay Walton seven from 12.
For Molynes United ‘A’, Saffon Knight scored 13 from 20 and Kera Christie eight from 17.
As a result of the victory, GC Foster ‘A’ will play Mico ‘A’ in tomorrow’s semi-finals. Mico ‘A’ booked their place with a 17-9 victory over Skibo ‘A’.
UWI Revolution ‘A’ advanced following a 29-10 victory over Alpha ‘A’ and will face Tivoli ‘B’ in the other semifinal. Tivoli ‘B’ turned back Ebony Strikers 21-18 to qualify.
