Sri Lanka through after record stand

Upul Tharanga and Tillakaratne Dilshan shared a World Cup record opening stand of 282 as co-hosts Sri Lanka beat Zimbabwe by 139 runs at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium to seal a quarterfinal place.
The pair eclipsed the 194 set by Pakistan's Saeed Anwar and Wajahatullah Wasti in 1999 as Sri Lanka compiled 326 for 6 off their allotted 50 overs.
It was also the first time in a World Cup that both openers scored a century, Tharanga with 133 and Dilshan 144.
Chris Mpofu was the most successful bowler for Zimbabwe with four for 62 off seven overs.
In reply Brendan Taylor made a fluent 80 off 72 balls but Zimbabwe slid from 116 without loss to 188 all out in 39 overs.
Dilshan finished with impressive figures of with 4 for 4 off three overs, while Muttiah Muralitharan supported with three for 34 and Angelo Mathews, two for 29 off five overs.
