West Indies, Pakistan faceoff in first ODI

The One-Day International segment of the Digicel Home Series between hosts West Indies and Pakistan bowled off this morning at the Beausejour Cricket Ground in St Lucia.
The game started at 8:30 Jamaica time.
West Indies captain Darren Sammy has urged his new-look team to play with unity after the side successful start in the Twenty/Twenty against Pakistan, which the hosts won by seven runs.
West Indies are using five debutants in that game, which was the first 20/20 played between the two teams and there are also several new faces in the squad for the first two One Day Internationals.
Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Kieron Pollard are all missing from the West Indies line-up; while Umar Gul, Younis Khan and Kamran Akmal are out of the Pakistan squad.
