Chanderpaul, Bravo attempt to revive West Indies

Veteran batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Darren Bravo will try to further
revive West Indies innings when the third and final Test against India resumes this morning at Windsor Park in Dominica.
West Indies, sent in to bat, will resume on 75 for three after rain caused an early end to yesterday’s first day.
Chanderpual and Bravo have so far put on an unbroken fourth-wicket partnership
of 40 after West Indies were reduced to 35 for three.
Bravo is 22 not out and Chanderpaul is unbeaten on 17.
Only 31.1 overs were allowed yesterday and batsmen Kieran Powell and Kirk Edwards failed on their test debuts.
Powell, an opening batsman, was dismissed for three with the score on 17, while
Edwards went for six to leave West Indies struggling on 35 for three.
Powell’s opening partner Adrian Barath also went very cheaply.
He was dismissed for 12.
Ishant Sharma has so far led the bowling for the visitors with two for 23.
West Indies trail 1-nil in the three-match series, after they lost the first Test by 63 at Sabina Park in Jamaica, and earning a draw in the second Test at Kensington Oval in Barbados.
