Players will be hoping for improved weather condition in Guyana today after rain affected all three games on yesterday’s opening day of the second round of the West Indies Regional Under-19 Championship.



Torrential mid-morning rain ravaged the top-of-the-table clash between Jamaica and hosts Guyana, ruling out play on the first day at Bourda without a ball bowled.



And heavy rain also forced the abandonment of the first day’s play between Barbados and Leeward Islands at Demerara Cricket Club.



Over at the Guyana National Stadium, Trinidad and Tobago will resume this morning on 219 for six against defending champions Windward Islands. The first session of play was badly affected because of rain and only 45 minutes of play was possible.
