Cricket: Jamaica to return home with women’s title today

Meanwhile, Jamaica’s women cricketers are back home from Barbados after becoming the new WICB Regional Women’s One-day champion yesterday.
West Indies all-rounder Stafanie Taylor played a vital role to help Jamaica completed a 30-run victory over two-time defending champions Trinidad & Tobago in the final.
Taylor hit the top score of 45, as the Jamaicans were dismissed for a modest 136 in 48. 1 overs, after they were sent in to bat in the Grand Final at Kensington Oval.
Taylor then picked up two wickets for 14 runs from six overs, as T&T were bowled out for 106 with 46 balls remaining.
The victory gave the Jamaican women their first title in three years.
