Down in class HOMBRE should rebound with a win when he takes on 12 opponents in the annual renewal of the Kenneth Mattis Trophy – feature event at Caymanas Park today.
The race will be run over 2,000 metres.
HOMBRE, with Andre Martin, can expect good competition from MAGNIFICENT and PRINCE ROHAN with title chasing jockey Dick Cardenas.
The day will also feature the Winnie Anglin Memorial Cup, a native-bred maiden special weight event for fillies over the round-five course. BEST DIRECTOR with jockey Paul Francis is the one to beat.
