Opposition walk out of T&T Parliament

Opposition legislators walked out of Parliament yesterday as Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar stood to end a debate on a motion of no confidence that had been filed against her government by Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley.
The opposition said she had failed to enter into the debate in a motion that had specifically targeted her, but was now prepared to speak with no one able to rebut any of her statements.
The motion was later defeated by a 26-0 margin.
