Two killed in Trelawny
Two people were killed in Trelawny over the weekend.
They have been identified as Sean Clarke, 37, a labourer of Falmouth and Rosheen Ferron, otherwise called Shema,25, of Salt Marsh.
Clarke was reportedly killed when he attempted to commit a robbery. Police reports are that Clarke attacked his would-be victim on Duke Street in the parish capital about 2 a.m. with a knife. The victim, however, managed to disarm him and used the knife to stab Clarke.
In the other incident, Ferron was shot and killed in her community around 11:30 Friday night. Police reports are that explosions were heard and upon their arrival, Ferron’s body was discovered with gunshot wounds on a playing field. No motive has been established for her killing.
Police investigations in both deaths continue.
