US must butt out of Venezuelan affairs

THE EDITOR, Sir:
The USA has no moral authority to be telling Venezuela how to conduct its affairs - not after its behaviour in Iraq and its murderous mission in Libya.
Stop meddling in the affairs of member states. Respect the sovereignty of Venezuela and its prerogative to implement whatever system it sees fit for itself.
Oftentimes small developing countries are forced to go radical as a defence against the sinister, underhanded attempts of the USA to meddle in their social, political and economic life.
Be still, USA, and get on your knees and pray to God for forgiveness of your sins.
