Rotary Club to lead need assessment tour for Bond Street fire victims
More assistance could be on the way for the ten adults and seven children who were left homeless after a fire destroyed their homes in the west Kingston community of Denham Town last week.
The Rotary Club of Downtown has announced plans to lead a team that will visit Bond Street in Denham Town tomorrow to conduct needs assessment.
According to the service club, the team will include representatives from the Denham Town Police and the Community Development Committee.
“The objectives of the needs assessment are to ascertain the extent of the damage and to find out the most pressing needs of the residents who have been affected by the fire,” the club explained.
President of the Rotary Club of Downtown Kingston Robert Scott will lead the tour, which expected to begin at 11 a.m.
