Murder convict and disgraced cop Collis ‘Chucky’ Brown is scheduled to be sentenced today at the Home Circuit Court in downtown Kingston.

He was indicted on charges stemming from the 2009 murder of Damoy ‘Gutty’ Dawkins and the 2012 killings of Dwayne Douglas and Andrew Fearon in Clarendon.

It was alleged that Brown, a constable, shot and killed Dawkins along the Palmer’s Cross main road in Clarendon on January 10, 2009. Brown was also accused of fatally shooting Douglas and Fearon along the Swansea main road on December 13, 2012, in the same parish.

His sentencing was previously scheduled for December 20, 2018, and January 3, 2019.
