MPs, Internet providers, please help rural residents

THE EDITOR, Madam:
As the PRO of a school PTA executive, I receive a lot of phone calls from parents in the rural areas complaining about no Internet access.
I am using this opportunity to appeal to all 63 members of parliament (MPs), especially those representing citizens in the rural areas, to please make representation to the Internet providers to run more cables and set up sites in these areas so that these children can have access to do online classes.
Without the Internet, it will not be possible for children to have virtual classes while staying safe during this COVID-19 pandemic. So please, MPs and Internet providers, do something for all these people around the island.
