Vere United and Tivoli Gardens played to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their Jamaica Premier League quater-final at the UWI-JFF-Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence on Saturday.
While chances were few and far between, Vere United had golden opportunites to take the lead in the second half.
Tyrese Harrison was through one-on-one but his shot was saved by Tivoli goalkeeper Kewong Watkins and Ramone Plummer had an open goal from a low cross but he could only put his effort over the bar.
Tivoli's Stephen Barnett had his free kick attempt saved by Vere United goalkeeper Kadeem Davis.
