Stocks Round Up | Margaritaville (Turks) today's top winner, Berger leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Wednesday suffering a small decline.

The slow to moderate trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 40/51.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 310.15 points or 0.08 per cent to close at 395,416.26.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 374.06 points or 0.10 per cent to close at 381,286.00 while the Junior Market Index declined by 73.38 points or 1.67 per cent to close at 4,327.00.

The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 0.42 points or 0.20 per cent, to close at 212.27.

VM Investments up 6.96 per cent to close at $5.53

Berger down 9.68 per cent to close at $11.20

Lasco Distributors down 9.06per cent closing at $3.11

Market volume

Some 24.18 million units valued at over $93.8 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Sagicor Select-Financial, followed by Transjamaican and Wigton.
