CG2022 | Broadbell cops gold in 110mh
Jamaica’s 21-year-old Rasheed Broadbell won the 2022 Commonwealth Games' gold medal in the men’s 110 metres hurdles on Thursday.
Broadbell, who ran a personal best, also equalled the Games' record of 13.08 seconds.
Barbados’ Shane Brathwaite in a season best 13.30 seconds, won the silver medal as England’s Andrew Pozzi captured the bronze in 13.37.
Jamaica’s Orlando Bennett, finished fifth in a time of 13.43 seconds.
The island's third representative in the final, Tokyo Olympic Games' gold medallist, Hansle Parchment, pulled out prior to the start.
