A Golden Gala Concert featuring Jamaica’s own world-renowned bass-baritone, Sir Willard White and his wife, mezzo-soprano Lady Sylvia Kevorkian-White, as well as the National Chorale of Jamaica, was an occasion guaranteed to bring out the charming and the beautiful. Patrons filed inside The University of West Indies Chapel last Sunday to enjoy a truly exciting evening of performances made possible by the National Chorale, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, in collaboration with the Jamaica National Group. Something Extra shares the highlights.
