We are travelling through the physical dimension of sound, a one–of–a–kind encounter behind the gates of a truly priceless piece of real estate.

Throughout history, music has been an important part of the human experience. More than seven billion people listen to music on the planet, with Americans on average enjoying almost three hours of it daily.

This temple of music with its anomalous offerings is owned by the unnamed and mysterious, Mr X.

May we be so bold as to ask, “Who is Mr X”? That we don’t know, except to note that he’s a withdrawn personality with an unswervable wish to remain incognito.

Yet, for all his solitary image, this individual has stood at the top of international music for decades as a legendary promoter for the world’s biggest musical acts, with the likes of Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, and Tina Turner. And if that were not impressive enough, we can add Madonna, U2, Commodores, Grace Jones, and so many more.

We thank Mr. X through his intermediaries, for sharing with us one of his exceptional homes across the world, this rhythmic one being in the esteemed, gated enclave of Spring Farm Estates, Rose Hall, St. James.

But this, my friends, is certainly not the average luxury house, not by a long shot! It has the distinction of being the only home of its kind created to unite music, architecture, and interior décor, in a holistic designed high–tech space of pleasure and leisure.

Imagine if you will, a home (with a semi–attached cottage) functioning as a state–of–the–art interactive gallery with individual photographs displayed of recording stars. Here, from wall to wall with its virtual experience system, you immerse yourself into its music, as each picture touches you with its vocal artistry. They sing personally to you. Photos were taken by world-famous celebrity photographer, David McGough.

The stylish traditional architecture, completely rebuilt in the 1970s, highlighted by natural cut-stone walls, copious amount of French–style windows, and arched openings, incorporates on its three–and–a–half-acre compound with sea views, 14,000 square feet of living space having eight bedroom suites with private bathrooms, with main marble bathroom exhibiting a relaxing sauna for cardiovascular improvement, his and her separate counter sinks, an energising heart–shaped whirlpool spa tub, bidet, and a glass door shower.

Some floors are of marble, and kitchen and bathroom counters are out of stone, with terra cotta tile roofing.

The works of Jamaican artists also adorn the melodious interiors.

We ask again, “Who is Mr X”?
