Search continues for missing passengers

GEORGETOWN, Guyana (CMC):
Rescue teams were searching on Wednesday for two people who are missing after the boat in which they were travelling toppled and sank near the Kanaima Falls located in Cuyuni-Mazaruni on Tuesday.
The identities of the two persons missing have not been disclosed but media reports said that the incident occurred at around 18:20 hours (local time). They were among seven people who were onboard a fuel vessel which departed Devil Hole landing, Cuyuni River.
The boat was captioned by 36-year-old Rawle Jarvis and while navigating through Kanaima Falls, it struck a rock and sank.
While the others managed to swim to shore, the two missing passengers have not been located and are presumed to have drowned.
