The competition, which ended on Saturday after three days of angling, also saw angler Mark Myers coming out as the top angler even though his Bye Pass crew only participated on two days. Myers claimed the top angler prize after tagging and releasing six marlins.

During three days of gruelling competition, a total of 14 marlins were tagged and released by respective anglers; however, with real dominance being shown by Bye Pass.

Sable-Joy McLaren, FirstRock Group, group marketing manager, said she was pleased with the tournament, pointing out that her organisation continued to enjoy a good relationship, which according to her, won’t be coming to an end anytime son.

The top female angler was Paulette Tai Chun from the boat Keepin It Jiggy, who tagged and released two marlins.
