As fortunate as it is that there have been no reports of injury and loss of life, it is evident that construction in an earthquake and hurricane zone should not be permitted without adequate use of reinforcing steel to strengthen the structure.

Basic skills trade training must be made available to all who are making an effort to provide a roof over their family’s head. The optics provided in this news item provides evidence of the risk that have been taken and are common homesteading practices.
