AK-47 rifle, over 100 rounds of ammunition seized in Salt Spring, St James

The James police today seized an AK-47 rifle and over 100 rounds of ammunition in an open lot in Salt Spring.
No arrest was made.
The police report that about 1:30 p.m., lawmen conducted an operation in the area when the firearm, four magazines, eighty-six 5.56 rounds and forty-six 7.62 rounds of ammunition were seen on an open lot.
Investigation continues.
