Something Extra | Friday
Tuff Gong and Appleton Estate treated Montego Bay to a musical extravaganza on Wednesday night at the event titled ‘One Love 79: People Get Ready’, setting the stage for the upcoming celebration of the King of Reggae, Bob Marley’s birthday in February. The event showcased the remarkable transformation of Main Street Rose Hall (formerly Shoppes at Rose Hall), now housing Marley One, the Rum Yard, Cooyah, Oubu Café, ArtBliss Gallery, and Scotchie’s. It drew a diverse crowd, eager for mid-week entertainment catering to locals. The highlight of Wednesday night was the outstanding performances by the indomitable Richie Spice, the lioness Queen Ifrica, the action-packed Nadine Sutherland, and Ghetto Youth International’s Black Am I. Their electrifying performances brought the house down, making it an evening of excellence and wholesome entertainment. Something Extra has the highlights.
