The St Ann Homecoming Foundation has teamed with HEART/NSTA Trust and Discovery Bauxite to offer a student mentorship programme for 12 grade-four boys each year, recommended by their principals from primary schools in St Ann. The sessions are conducted at the HEART St Ann’s Bay office once per month on a two-year cycle, leading up to grade six, with the focus on ‘soft skills such as values and attitudes, discipline, self-esteem, anger management, and character development. The course is guided by HEART officers and guest coaches drawn from Discovery Bauxite, teachers, and the Homecoming Foundation.
