#JAVOTES2024 | EOJ vehicle transporting ballot boxes crashes in St James

An Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) vehicle carrying ballot boxes from the Belfont Primary School in South St James overturned into a precipice in the Catadupa area of the community en route to an electoral centre in Cambridge.
The boxes were transferred to another electoral vehicle that was travelling in the convoy.
No major injuries were reported.
A preliminary count so far shows the People's National Party's Kenroy Gordon leading in the votes.
The other candidate is the Jamaica Labour Party's Bernard Clifford.
