An investigation is under way to retrieve the loaded service weapon of a policewoman which was stolen from her car along Ward Avenue in Mandeville, Manchester on Wednesday.
The Government-issued browning pistol was loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition.
It is reported that about 12:30 p.m., the cop went to do business at an establishment and secured the loaded weapon in her handbag inside her private motor vehicle.
Upon returning about 20 minutes later, it was observed that the vehicle was broken into and that weapon was missing along with other Government property.
