27 rounds of ammo, lottery scamming lead sheets seized at premises in Westmoreland

The Savanna-la-Mar police in Westmoreland today seized 27 rounds of assorted ammunition during an operation in the Cooke Street area of the town.
The police report that about 5:00 a.m., lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched.
During the search, the ammunition was found at the back of the premises in a container along with 18 lead sheets associated with lottery scamming.
They were discovered in an abandoned area near the premises.
No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
The investigation is ongoing.
