20-y-o man charged for murder of his father
A 20-year-old man has been charged for the stabbing death of his 53-year-old father during an attack.
Charged with murder is Jerry-Neol Dixon, otherwise called ‘Ojay,' of Goodwin Park Road in St Andrew.
Killed is Sean Dixon, a labourer of Price Lane in Kingston.
Reports from the Kingston Central police are that about 12:25 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, Jerry-Neol, who was armed with a knife, pounced upon his father while he was lying in his motor car at his home.
According to the police, he then used the knife to inflict several wounds to his upper body before escaping the area on foot.
The father was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Jerry-Neol later turned himself in to the police.
He was later charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
A court date for him is being arranged.
