Pulse’s Miqueal Symone stars in Alexandra Miro resort collection

Pulse’s Miqueal Symone Williams has been tapped as the face of the London-based luxury swimsuit and resort brand, Alexandra Miro.
Jamaica has long been a premier choice for film, fashion and music shoots, and the miles of sandy beaches and turquoise calm waters of Negril were the destination of choice for the Alexandra Miro team. Coupled with its beautiful vistas and amazing sunsets, the westernmost resort town on the island formed the perfect backdrop for the shoot.
With Negril as the idyllic shoot location, the team set out to find the perfect Jamaican to present their new and exciting collection. “Miqueal Symone was the one,” says brand creator Alexandra Miro.
For Williams, it was also aligned. “The clothes fit my personal style and I loved that we were capturing this amazing collection right here at home. The swimsuits, dresses, [and] cover-ups were luxurious. I enjoyed showing them off. It felt like I was on a holiday with the ideal wardrobe for the occasion!”
“Her presence and beauty came through in all the looks we captured. We will have loads of frames to choose from,” photographer Mia Ellis added.
Represented internationally by Supreme Management NY and Premium, Paris, the statuesque Pulse star and Miss Universe top-10 finalist has walked the runways of Paris and London and worked for some of fashion’s mega brands, ranging from Armani to Valentino. Among Williams’ editorial credits are top fashion publications Elle and Marie Claire. Williams’ near-flawless beauty saw her gain the favour with cosmetics giants L’Oreal, Mars, MAC and the Japanese-founded skincare brand Shiseido.
With Pulse’s Zan Hyde’s recent outing for the Paris-based Pressé shot in the city of Kingston and the coast of Discovery Bay, and now, William’s Negril escape, Jamaica consistently ranks among the preferred places for international fashion houses to capture great content for their labels.
