Body of man found in water tank in Nain, St Elizabeth

The body of a man with an electrical cord around his neck was found in a water tank in Nain, St. Elizabeth, on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Garfield Barnes, otherwise called ‘Polly’, a retiree from the Stephen Run district in Nain.
Reports are that around 5:45 p.m., Barnes' body was seen floating in a water tank in the community, and an alarm was raised.
The body, which had an electrical cord around the neck, was removed from the tank.
A post-mortem examination is to be conducted.
