First Global Bank (FGB), the banking arm of the GraceKennedy Financial Group (GKFG), recently granted loan forgiveness to three deserving teachers, clearing their outstanding debts in honour of Teachers’ Day at the flagship branch in New Kingston. Asked to visit the branch to discuss their loans, the educators were surprised when presented with symbolic cheques stating, “You Are Now Debt Free!”. Featured in the photo (from left) are Trudy-Ann Dacres-Beepat, Ivory White, and Marie Fitz-Henley, clients of FGB and teachers who collectively, have served the local classroom for 60 years.
