Jan 26: JMD exchange rate dips to $121.22

The Jamaica dollar traded at an average rate of $121.21 against the US dollar on Tuesday, down ten cents from Monday in a regular day of trading.
The JMD also lost value against the pound sterling, down 87 cents to $171. 51, and against the Canadian, down $1,87 to $86.74.
In the US dollar market, traders supplied US$28.7 million to currency buyers, but bought up just US$24.3 million.
The Jamaican dollar has fallen 80 cents or 0.66 per cent year to date against its main trading partner, the US dollar.
