Adrift | Desperate at sea

A romantic getaway becomes a tragedy at sea, when two sailors set out to journey across the ocean from Tahiti to San Diego. Tami and Richard couldn't anticipate that they would be sailing directly into one of the most catastrophic hurricanes in recorded history. In the aftermath of the storm, Tami awakens to find Richard badly injured and their boat in ruins. With no hope of rescue, Tami must find the strength and determination to save herself and the only man she has ever loved.

The film stars Shailene Woodley (Fault in our Stars, Divergent Films) and Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games) and is based on the true story of a couple, stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and who must now navigate to Hawaii with neither communication nor navigation tools.
