Bombshell is an American biographical drama directed by Jay Roach and written by Academy Award winner Charles Randolph. The film stars Academy Award winners Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman, and Academy Award nominee Margot Robbie, and is based upon the accounts of several women at Fox News who set out to expose CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment. Academy Award nominee John Lithgow, Kate McKinnon, Connie Britton, Malcolm McDowell, and Academy Award winner Allison Janney appear in supporting roles.
