The thanksgiving service for bassist extraordinaire, Robert Warrendale ‘Robbie’ Shakespeare, was held on Monday at the Webster Memorial United Church in St Andrew. His music and business partner, Sly Dunbar, led a musical tribute titled ‘Taxi Gang Tribute’ with arrangement by Dean Fraser, and featuring Nadine Sutherland, Dean Fraser, Tarrus Riley and Richie Stephens. Shakespeare passed away on December 8, 2021, in Florida.
