Abrupt end to Rebel Salute
The curtains were abruptly drawn on the 30th staging of roots and reggae concert, Rebel Salute, on Sunday morning.
The sound at the event was turned off at the beginning of reggae artiste I-Wayne's set, but was quickly reconnected following audience unrest.
As I-Wayne exited the stage to make way for his colleague, Fanton Mojah, several members of the police force were seen on the stage seemingly putting an end to the festivities.
It is unclear what the on stage discussions were, but members of the band and other workers could be seen making exits soon after.
Turbulence, who should have closed the show, did not get to perform.
Rebel Salute was held at Plantation Cove in St Ann.
The event, which initially started as a birthday party for founder Tony Rebel in 1994, has since transformed into a showcase of musical and cultural experiences.
