Students at Kingston College (KC) were yesterday sent home early as Dave Myrie, principal at the North Street-based school, ordered the school vacated due to a chemical spill.
A parent told The Gleaner that they were advised to pick up their sons earlier than normal due to what was described as a chemical spill.
The Gleaner understands that the spill took place in a fourth form chemistry lab.
When The Gleaner visited the school, the principal was locked in a meeting to discuss the problem.
It is not known what type of chemical spill it was.
