Customers in several communities across the Corporate Area will have their regular water service disrupted as the National Water Commission (NWC) undertakes system maintenance works.

The NWC has advised that work will begin as part of its ongoing non-revenue water-reduction programme being carried out with co-management partners Miya International.

The utility company will be conducting system maintenance, including valve-installation works, which will result in water-supply disruptions in the following areas: Constant Spring, Norbrook, Cherry Gardens, Havendale, Half-Way Tree, Lady Musgrave, Liguanea, Manor Park, Shortwood, Eastwood Park Gardens, Hughenden, Constant Spring Road, and Constant Spring Gardens.

Disruptions will also occur in Camperdown, Mannings Hill Road, Red Hills Road, Arlene Gardens, Roehampton, Calabar Mews, Zaidie Gardens, State Gardens, Molynes Road, Washington Boulevard, and Dunrobin Avenue on Thursday, April 5, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. and on Friday, April 6.

The NWC is urging its customers to store water for use during the specified period of disruptions. Additionally, motorists and pedestrians are being advised to observe the traffic signals of the work crews on site.
