The St James Municipal Corporation celebrated Jamaica’s 59th year of Independence with its annual Spirit of Independence Awards. Guided by strict COVID-19 protocols, the event was held at the Montego Bay Cultural Centre on Friday and served to honour 16 awardees for their accomplishments.
