Cabinet awards US$7.2m Metropolitan Area water improvement contract

Cabinet has awarded a contract for US$7.2 million to undertake improvement work to the water supply systems serving the Kingston Metropolitan Area.
The contract has been awarded to Deryck Gibson Limited.
Included in the contract is the procurement of 50,000 solid state cold water meters and 25,000 brass valves.
The contract has a 12-month timeline.
