Corporate Hands: Barclay Ewart scholarship presented

It’s all smiles as Shanice Hinds (left), second-year chemistry major at the University of the West Indies (UWI), receives her symbolic cheque for $330,000 from Jeanine Ewart (right), daughter of Alexander ‘Barclay’ Ewart. Shanice is the first recipient of the Alexander ‘Barclay’ Ewart Scholarship for Chemistry, which is open to chemistry major students from St Catherine studying at the UWI. The scholarship tenure is two years at the same sum each year.
