Distribution of Wisynco products should be back to normal in six weeks - Mahfood
Chairman of the Wisynco Group Limited, William Mahfood, says distribution of its products should be back to normal in another six weeks following last week’s fire.
On Thursday, fire destroyed Wysinco's Lakes Pen distribution centre in St Catherine.
Firefighters were not able to put out the blaze until the following afternoon.
The warehouse was primarily used as a storage area for beverages made by the company.

Mahfood says once the company’s shipments of raw material arrive in the island, production should be back to normal.
Mahfood says Wisynco has already identified some temporary warehouses to be used until it can rebuild.
However, he notes that it will be challenging operating from multiple locations.

Meanwhile, Mahfood says firefighters are still trying to determine what caused the fire.
Mahfood was speaking on Real Business on Power 106 FM this morning.
