The results of the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) are expected to be announced next week.
Director of Communications in the Education Ministry, Byron Buckley, says the results are ready.
The exam which has been highly criticised as being pressuring, is used to place students in high schools.
Approximately 39,129 students sat the GSAT in March.
Students are scored based on their performance in five subjects.
These are mathematics, social studies, language arts, communication task, and science.
Next year, the Education Ministry will be replacing the test with another assessment.
