'I'm feeling good' – Golding touts chairmanship election win

Opposition Senator Mark Golding said he is confident of victory today as he goes up against former Cabinet minister Colin Campbell and Dr Wesley Morris for chairmanship of the South St Andrew Constituency.
Golding was flocked by jubilant supporters as he made his way to the constituency office where more than 70 delegates will today determine his fate.
"I am feeling good; I am feeling confident. We have done our work and we expect to be victorious," he told The Gleaner.
Golding was the first of the three candidates on location and was touted as being "the boss" by his supporters.
He has been endorsed by former prime minister P.J. Patterson and the outgoing chairman of the constituency Dr Omar Davies who is also currently at the Constituency office.
"We just want a peaceful well-run process and after it's all over, unity in the family," he said.
He said he hopes to build on the work of Dr Davies who will be stepping aside for health reasons.
