60-year-old Trelawny man killed in drive-by shooting

An elderly man was killed and three persons injured in a drive-by shooting in Falmouth, Trelawny early this morning.
The dead man has been identified as 60-year-old Ashton Skyers of Race Course district in the parish.
It’s reported that Skyers was among a group of persons gathered at a shop when unknown assailants travelling in a car opened fire.
He was rushed to hospital where he reportedly succumbed to his injuries.
Three other persons who sustain gunshot wounds are being treated at hospital.
